Southend & Benfleet Juniors played in an Essex Southern League tournament on Sunday against teams from Waltham Forest, Old Southendians, Old Loughtonians and Brentwood. The U10s boys were unbeaten in their matches with goals from Mark Arnold, Ronnie Reeves and Charlie Lunn. In the U12s boys category S&B had two teams: Southend & Benfleet 1 were unbeaten with two wins and two draws with goals from Albert Galbally, Hayden Stanford and Max Miles; goal scorers for Southend & Benfleet A were Oliver Soars, Harry Reeves and Thomas Hooper. The girls U10s team drew three matches and the U12s girls team were glad to have Poppy Grant back in midfield.
